About

My name is Rob Petkau, I am the husband of a beautiful strong woman, and the father of two magnificent sons. I am truly blessed. We live in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and are constantly inspired by natural beauty. For 15 years I have been a full time artist in the realm of science fiction and fantasy. Before that I was a youth and young adults pastor. All this time I have been a coach. I’m trained in the co-active coaching model by the Coaches Training Institute, but beyond that I am a natural coach. I can’t help be curious, ask intense questions, and to believe in the person I see before me. I want to see you come to life and step into your God given identity.

My Passion

The name Genesis Coaching was chosen on purpose. I am inspired by the first words of scripture; “In the beginning, God created…” I have a passion for design, the thought and beauty that goes into a work of art. That also translates to each person on this planet. We each are lovingly and artfully designed by our masterful creator (Psalm 139). I’m honored to play a part in helping a person connect with their creators design for them.
